I have been a journalist since 2002, in Saudi  Arabia and the UAE and have served as a reporter, photographer,  war correspondent, Bureau Chief and Managing Editor throughout my career between  Arab News,  Saudi Gazette and The National newspaper, so far with more than a 1,000 articles published. 

In me you find an experienced and accomplished still photographer who has had over one hundred photographs published in books, magazines and newspapers around the world. Some of my most thought-provoking photos were during the Egyptian Revolution.  Some of them  can be seen in the Gallery section.

I'm also a photographer and cameraman whose footage of the Egyptian revolution, the Gezi Park riots in Istanbul in 2013 and the Iraq War has aired on CNN and other channels.
